About Me:: My husband and I have a 7 month old little girl. She is our world. I look at her and can't imagine the pain of not being able to have a little one. I have started the process of becoming a surrogate. I have only found one agency willing to work with me where I live. I can't wait to really get into the whole thing. I had a phone interview with an agency (Extraordinary Conceptions) this morning. They seem very nice and I am hoping that everything will work out. The woman I talked to said that the only thing that may hinder how quickly I find IPs is my location. She said that with as good as everything else looks, though, I shouldn't have trouble. Wow, it's been awhile!!!

I just got my internet turned back on after a month of not having it. I feel like I've missed so much! I don't even recognize anyone. I'm so happy that the site has grown this much. We recently finished a cross-country move from Ohio to Wyoming (bad news in surrogacy terms). My husband's job transferred him out here. Yet another road block

I haven't been actively pursuing surogacy recently. My husband and I are moving from Ohio to Wyoming in a couple weeks and I had decided to wait until we were settled before I continued my journey. I have already been turned down by a handful of agencies due to the state we will be living in. My first choice of agencies told me that they would still work with me in Wyoming. Putting a pin in it

I've decided to hold off for a few months on continuing my journey. We are moving from Ohio to Wyoming next month. I have a feeling that I'm not really going to get anywhere with most agencies until we are there. Once we are there I am going to work my rear end off getting things going. I hate that I have to wait, but I know that agencies are going to be hesitant to work with me with a move in my future. I'm looking forward to finding the right agency and IPs for me. Bad news

Well, after I found the perfect IPs, I found out that I can't work with them. On my application to their agency I was trying to be extremely honest. It asked if dh or I had ever been charged with anything. I admitted that dh had received a minor in posession of alcohol 5 years ago when he was 20. I got an email this morning telling me that I wouldn't be accepted by the agency due to his "criminal history". Then, after I told my dh, he informed me that he was never actually charged. Well hopefully your family comes around so that way it's easier on you. I'm sure once they see how excited you are to be doing it and apart of such a wonderful thing, they will learn to accept and think that you are a blessing to those that can't have children.

I was shocked to say the least when my hubby told his mom what I wanted to do and she was excited for me!! My mom told me I was crazy at first but said that it was a good idea.
