Where do I begin?

To be honest, I stumbled upon this site while I was looking into my options on becoming a parent. My story is that I have been through several tough relationships and, in a few of them, we (my significant others and I) have tried to conceive. Up and to this point my goal was always to have a traditional family. However, I have done a lot of reflecting and I have been through a lot of pain to come to this decision. My ultimate goal is to one day be able to go through surrogacy to have a child. I have been through enough to know that I will do just fine on my own and actually prefer this method. Although it may seem unorthodox, in the research that I have done on the subject this is becoming more and more popular. However, this will likely have to be way down the road for me seeing as how surrogacy are not cheap. If I had the money today I would drop it on this option in a heartbeat and never look back. None of my life goals are as important to me as becoming a father and I am stoked to see that day but for now I will work on my professional goals until someday this becomes an option for me. Please feel free to comment but before you do please note that I did not make a snap decision when I decided upon this. I thought about it for quite some time and I have quite a lot of experience with children. Again, I did not make a snap decision just because I like kids or babies are cute. I have chosen to "go it alone" so to speak for many reasons and I am also well aware of how hard it is raising a child on your own, the benefits out-way the hardships in my eyes.
