Surrogate Motherhood - The best surrogate mothers community
Today I tell all my family of my decision.
Today i will be telling all of my family about my decision to accept an offer to become a surrogate. The family has offered me a very nice deal, and I get to do something That I have always wanted to do, give another family the gift of life.
I don't know the technicalities of how this works but they have made an offer of $25,000 plus medical and travel expenses. They are extremely nice people and i feel very connected to them already. I am so excited that i get to do something this important for another family. There has not been a time set yet for travel or implantation . They are leaving for vacation and when they get back on the 13th I will find the rest of the information out. I want to get started as soon as possible.
Can anyone give me some information on what to expect with the implantation and all that?
I am really curious and want to absorb as much information as possible.

- yes they have there own embryos and lawyers are ready to go.

Comment by Sarah B. on July 3, 2009 at 2:22pm - Congrats on your match. Implantation, I am guess you will be a GS? Do your intended parents have a egg donor lined up and do you have lawyers to start contracts? All of that takes time.
