A little more:
I am have just sold my business and adjusting to being a full time Mom and loving it! I have always taken care of children since the time I was 12 years old. My business was in childcare and have always had the "motherly instinct". I have my first baby, George my yorkie who I love and can't imagine a day without and gave birth to our first child, Charlie, he is a spunky, energetic little boy that reminds me of his father ever day. My husband and I have been together for 8.5years (I can't believe it!) and married for 5 of those years. I have been thinking about surrogacy for the past year. I am now going to be a GS surro for a family and super excited about our upcoming transfer. I will post updates about my journey soon!!! Transfer set for 5/29-31 so we will see very soon!
Nitty Gritty:
My son was an oops baby that I conceived while on birth control (I guess someone else had other plans for us :)
I had a healthy pregnancy, with hardly any of the ill effects that many pregnant woman suffer from (thank goodness)
My son was a scheduled c-section because 4 days before his due date we found out he was breech.
He was a healthy baby boy 8lbs7ozs and 20in long.
My insurance covers surrogate births
I would like to do GS or for the right family would be comfortable doing TS.
I support both man and wife and same sex marriages
I AM CURRENTLY A GS FOR A FAMILY RIGHT NOW BUT WOULD LIKE TO BE A GS AGAIN

When someone doesn't agree with your choice to be a surro
Had my first negative feedback about being a surro. I'm almost done with my 1st trimester and now needing to spread the word to extended family. My grandparents took it hard and I ended up leaving in tears. I kinda figured it would not be good when I told them but when my grandmother told me she felt like I was taking away a great grandchild that really hurt. PREGNANT, PREGNANT PREGNANT!
So my IPs and I are THRILLED to announce that we are pregnant!
Beta test came back at 367 and I have another blood test on Friday. What would be a good number for the test results on Friday. If I remember correctly the number should double, is that right?
And did any other surros out there have their meds change when they found out they were pregnant? Also anything personally change for you when you found out?

Finally transfer has came and went, now what? several random questions for my exp. surros
Hello surromoms!
So I'm on bedrest with nothing better to do than contemplate what happens next. I have some concerns being on bed rest. My Dr wants me on 3 days strict bed rest and then I can walk around but still take it easy. The first 2 days I had to lay flat on my back with my feet elevated and was pretty miserable but now I'm afraid to roll on my side, etc in bed, is there a certain way that is safest?
Also as always the clinic says NO pregnancy test until the blood test… Continue

Hi fellow surros mommys
I am in one of those places called a rock and a hard place and I need some help from experienced surros. I LOVE my IPs they are super sweet and we have LOTS in common and have the same ideas. However the process is taking FOREVER!
We started talking in October and got serious in December, unfortunately there was a set back and we had to stop until February. It is now April and we still haven't signed a contract, and I'm suppose to start injections in 2 d… Continue

- I looked above and figured May 26th was fertilization/conception if that is right, Feb 16th is your estimated due date...and you are 4weeks pregnant. Does that sound right?

Or you can figure your transfer day and go back 5 days...if you dont know conception date...you are more than 3 though

Brooke *Matched* said… - Yes, they usually transfer more then one but they are only hoping for one (they have twins that are 15 months). They have great quality embryos that have been genetically tested and grown out to day 5. So I got the very best one out of the bunch. - ok so how many days past transfer did they do the beta? You can go to www.betabase.com and compare your results to others and see where you fall for your odds for single, twins, triplets...my beta numbers were really high and suggested twins...and they were right!! I am so excited for you and your IP's this is awesome news girl!!
