UPDATE: Appointments have been going well, I started meds November 4th, had my first ultrasound to check the lining in my uterus, and estrogen level which needed to be below 60 (mine was 30) so everything is awesome, continuing with meds and going in for a second ultrasound and lab work on November 25th. My IM started her ovary stimulation med on November 20th. She has an ultrasound to check how that is going on November 27th. If all is good they could be retrieveing her eggs then. We would then be transferring 3-5 days after that, which means around November 30th to December 2nd! So 8-10 more days!!! We are getting anxious and are sooooo excited

I have found my IP's! We have been talking for several months, and I have an appointment with their clinic October 5th for a medical exam, and psyc. exam. We are hopeing to start meds soon after, and then trasfer early December. I wish all of you the best of luck in your search/journey as well!

I am a 31 year old first time GS. I have 2girls who are 5 and 9. My husband is a Captain in the Marine Corp. We have been married for almost 6 years. He has been to Iraq 2x's. For fellow military wifes, if you need someone to talk to or advice/information about Tricare, let me know, I have done the research!
I will keep you all updated on my process as well, and am excited to hear about all of yours. If I can help any of you with anything let me know!!

Dr. Phil Tomorrow

Tomorrow Dr. Phil is having a show about a surrogate who had twins for a couple and she put herself on the birth certifercate so there is some kind of legal battle going on for the IP's to get these babies back. The surro says she feels she needs to protect these babies from the IP's...only getting tid bits of info since the actual show is tomorrow. Uplifting news

I have a friend who has a son through IVF and 2years ago they concieved their daughter after several failed attempts. This was her last egg, and the doctors told her they could not find anymore eggs, so they were thrilled that she was pregnant! After their daughter was born they found out that she had a rare heart condition. They did surgery and unfortunately she died within a month of being born.

SOOOO...

Ok, so all along my IP's clinic has been telling me I would start my injections mid November...well ladies...I will be starting them Wednesday!!! 5 days from today! I should be getting them in the mail Monday or Tuesday! I guess they were referring to my IM starting her injections then, not me...anyway...Great news. I believe we are still transferring the first week in December, but who knows maybe that will change too...LOL

The next step

Ok so as I had posted on my last blog "back from the clinic" I got our lab results back from the clinic and everything was great. We are good to go. Yay!!!
So like I had said, I was so excited, I hung up the phone and I forgot to ask what the next step was! I called them back today...LOL and she said that now we wait.
