I'm just a few days short of 10 weeks pregnant now, and it is really starting to set in that there's a baby on the way. I will say, I've had my crazy moments in which I wonder if I'm really pregnant or not! Now, I've done two pregnancy tests, and I'm sure they did a test when I went to the doc to verify....still, I've not felt or seen the baby yet, so it's hard to KNOW it's true. I know I've been under the radar lately, but know that even when I don't post on the forum that I'm checking in on things and answering personal messages daily. I'll be honest, I'm having a rough first trimester! Stomach issues, extremely tired, you all know how it is. I don't know that I've EVER felt so sleepy in me life! Luckily I have great family support and where I've slacked off, others have stepped in. Rumor has it I'll feel better soon...I hope so!

I was a few days late as of last Friday, and honestly I didn't want to take a test for fear of disappointment. Nick was barely awake Saturday morning and opted to make a drug store run for a test. He lacks patience! I expected that when I took the test I would have the three minutes to stress out about what the result would reveal. As many of you may have already learned, Nick and I are officially making a go at making a baby :) We have known that we wanted children together from the first weekend we met, but we just didn't know when. Originally, we thought we'd start trying upon our completing our first successful year of marital bliss. I guess our marital bliss has gone to our heads, and we're starting about 6 months early!

Well, Nick and I have been married almost three months now, and I can say that these have been the best months of my life to date. I can't even remember what it was like to not have him by my side at this point, even though we've only known each other since last September. We definately have had a whirlwind romance, but we both "played the field" so to speak long enough, and knew from the first conversation we had that we would probably be together forever.
