Trolls

I agree with Dana we need to stay positive, Surrogacy is a long hard road for everyone IP's and SM's alike. Some of us are very passionate about Surrogacy and we stand our ground when others are dragging surrogacy through the mud. One thing you'll notice if you haven't already is that in the Surrogacy world and I'm sure on other support sites there are what we call "trolls". Trolls are people who like to come onto sites and start drama where no drama exist, they tend to lie about situations for attention, delete their profile and come back under a different name, delete their posts when others replies to their post do not suite their needs and have a hard time keeping their stories straight. For the most part trolls weed themselves out or they are called out by other members who get tired of their lies.

Would I have turned the other way and not read I would not have learned. It’s unfortunate that problems, lies, and deceit exist but we also can learn from others pain. In the end, I think debatable topics are influential (especially since there are a lot of fresh surros and IP's on here ) and regardless your opinion is your opinion and we are all entitled to our own opinion whether we feel they are correct or not. That is what makes our world the way it is. Again, we also need to remember that demographics can influence some opinions too but it is a live and learn process and instead of criticizing one another learn from another. They might be right because there is usually someone that knows at least a little "backstory" behind who is posting what. Of course they could be completely wrong and often are.

With that said, when I read the OP my mind immediately went to someone and it was not anyone that has posted in this thread so far. Even as a newbie to this site (I'm not new to surrogacy and have developed a troll radar) I've already read some things that make me go hhhhmmmmmmm. I'm not always right but my record is better than average.

FWIW - If anyone ever considers that I might be a troll I have met people that can pretty easily prove I'm not. I also have pics that can easily show that I'm not a troll. The hard part was dying my green fuzzy hair and getting it to lay down so I look human. I couldn't cover up being short though but I'm working on it. ;); ▶ Reply to This
