Susan L. Stockham is an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida since 1982. She is a member of the American Academy of Adoption
Attorneys, Florida Bar, and Sarasota County Bar associations and has
served on various adoption committees, published numerous articles on
adoptions and lectured on adoption topics at seminars for the
American Bar Association, American Academy of Adoption Attorneys,
Florida Bar and Sarasota Bar associations.
She has co-authored Adoption chapters of Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education book "Adoption, Paternity and Other
Family Law Matters", as well as co-authored the Florida Bar
Continuing Legal Education book "Rights of Parties to Independent
Adoptions."
She has been handling surrogacy and assisted reproductive technology cases since 1992 and has handled traditional
surrogacy, egg donors, and gestational carriers cases. Additionally,
she has handled the birth certification process required to place the
intending parents' names on the child's birth certificate, and the
paternity/maternity/stepparent adoption actions.
She is the adoptive mom of two wonderful, happy, handsome sons.
