Surrogate Motherhood - The best surrogate mothers community
1st Journey comes to a premature end...
As a 1st time surrogate living in France, 4 months ago I had found my IP's on this very site. A perfect match as the couple lived less than an hour away from me and we got along really well...
We had planned on starting insems in April, we had opted for TS as my IM had a heart condition which prevents her from being pregnant...
Unfortunately I found out today that our journey has now come to an end, her doctor has told her she will need a heart transplant at the least... so it wouldn't be safe to bring a baby into this world without knowing whether it's mother would be there to cherish it...
Of course I am disappointed, I truely came to care for this couple and we were all so happy and couldn't wait to start, but mainly my thoughts go out to my FIM who not only has to give up the idea of becoming a mom, but also is in doubt regarding her own future. I can only imagine what she is going through and she is in my prayers...
It won't be easy for me to find another "perfect match" in France, communication is difficult since it is not yet legal over here, but I remain hopeful.

Im sorry this journey has come to an end. I will be praying for your IM. Keep in mind hun that there is someone for everyone and you will find another match. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as well. Keep us updated. And much luck to you in your next journey.

Hello,
It is unfortunate that your journey has ended...but their is a reason for everything. My form IPs whom are from France have told me their are many discussion forums they are in with people from all over France. I will see if I can find out what some of these sites are...you might be able to communicate with someone nearby..

Also just curious: which part of France are you from? Je suis Francais ayant emigre au Canada il y'a 13 ans de cela. Ma famille est de Nevers et Grenoble. A plus.

I'm from Limoges in the center of France, 4 hours south of Paris and 3 hours east of Bordeaux !
A very rainy area, but very green ! lol It's were the Limousin cows come from !
